I want to open payment processing, and need your input. Which one between the 2 systems would you recommend and why? Thanks. David
Well Paypal has been investing a lot of money for their fraud server and been very success to reduce the fraud rate . Ap hasn't yet got quality webmaster's touch but i must say, they are trying to reach each and every type of online strategy.
I agree. AlertPay are really trying quite hard to give PayPal a run for their money, and it shows. A couple of years ago, I think most people's answer to this would have been that PayPal was way ahead of AlertPay, whatever frames of reference you used to compare the two. I'm not at all convinced that this is true any more. I use both, myself. From the seller's perspective, given PayPal's habits of (a) always taking the buyer's side in any dispute, and (b) sometimes freezing people's accounts pretty arbitrarily, pending dispute resolution, sometimes for as long as 6 months, I think in many ways AlertPay has the edge, now. My one reservation about AlertPay is that its "acceptance standards" are a lot lower than those of most other credit-card processors. It remains true in the murky "online business opportunity world", for example, that if a company can only accept funds by AlertPay, that rings one or two alarm-bells. Basically, it means that nobody else will accept them. For example, nearly all the illegal "cash gifting scams" have AlertPay as their only credit-card processor because PayPal, MoneyBookers and all those others won't touch them. So the one possible downside to using AlertPay as your only processor is that it might not speak too highly of your business, which is certainly an unfortunate image to present. Depending on your type of business, that will obviously worry some people more than others. But in terms of overall reliability and especially customer service, I would actually put AlertPay ahead, just slightly.
Go with paypal.. paypal is the best payment processor.. But for "Black Listed" country from paypal, you need AlertPay or LR
You can have both. Paypal is still the best online payment processor compare to others. It is because paypal accepted by most of the country and most of the member are using paypal as their online payment processor. It is fast and secure
I'd prefer paypal, it limits accounts of you log into it from another IP, and asks proof before you send money again.
paypal always limits account for no reason, I have a worst case with paypal i don't use paypal anymore, i will go for alertpay
I would suggest Paypal over Alertpay as you will find that alot more people have a paypal account over an alertpay account.
i suggest alertpay if you are sending more than $1 in always, and paypal for less than $1 payment, so you can go for 2 accounts
anyway, as suggestion, you should try on paypal, because not much people are having alertpay, somemore many people able to add funds with credit card to paypal but alertpay can't
here is my thoughts for the thread. paypal is by far the best as we all say. But really they just cornered the market with it being the most widely used being incorporated with ebay as the only payment source so when you put it on that type of standard well they would be the best and biggest. Let alertpay, moneybookers, liberty pay be incorporated and see where all of them end up would be a nice battle. In the gaming world where I have my main expertise paypal will not allow them as a payment source any longer on gaming related sites that offer any sort of prizes. Be it digital, material, or cash. Tangible or Intangible So the choice is really yours. I would offer a couple different ones to be honest and make sure you hit all key country's where you think your product or service will be used.
