Paypal verification using VISA Global Debit Card

    I wish to verify my paypal account so that I could pay for hosting services via paypal.

    From Paypal
    Debit Cards (also called check cards, ATM cards, or banking cards) are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.


    I am about to make an account from VijayaBank ( Listed on the VISA Site as one of the 39 affiliate banks in India ) so that I can verify my account.

    But I saw some posts here stating that Global Debit cards are of no use for verificaton .. But it says right here in the PayPal site that Debit Cards are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.

    Has anyone done this before ? Please help ! :rolleyes:

    no u cant do that with debit cards only credit cards accepted

    Debit cards issues from India (with VISA on them) are not accepted as a method of verification. I am not sure about VISA debit cards from USA.
