Paypal verification problem!

I received my sbi credit card with a visa logo and tried verifying my account but for some reason it says contact your bank.

I waited for some days and tried again but the same problem. So i called up the customer care and they said the card is activated and i should be able to use.

I'm entering all the details correctly in paypal but for some reason it is not accepting and sending an error.

The bank says they haven't received any fail transaction from paypal.

So is it a problem with the card or paypal?

For some reason on the card it says for use in India and Nepal only. I don't know why they put that on the card. I had told them i need the card for using on the internet and for verifying paypal. And they said it will work.

i been using SBI cards on my paypal from more then 2 years and never had any problem... i recently add my new SBI card and use it to expanded program.... i have 2 CC inside my paypal, one SBI and the one is HDFC... so i guess the problem is with paypal... there is nothing wrong with your CC.... because you enter your CC before it was activeated, so i guess paypal's automated system thought that your card is blocked and so they must have blocked that Card.... you need to ask paypal to remove that CC number from there block list or something like that.... and also never use your CC at paypal unless you are sure its activated or else paypal will have it blocked...

and the credit card you need is SBI International to use at PayPal...

Have you registered your card for online banking? That often helps

Depanding on the card don't you need to enroll for Mastercard or Visa "secure code" now?

Its the fault of the bank. I just got over the phone with the bank and they said its their mistake that they sent me Indian credit card instead of the international one.

I had told them i need an international one and then too they make such a mistake this is ridiculous.
