Paypal Verification -> Credit Card name (you can change first name?)

When verifying your CC via paypal,... how come you can change the first name that's on the card but not the last name? Does this mean we can use a CC under another family member's name to get verified?

To be honest I didn't understand what actually you want to ask.
Verifying your CC via Paypal or verifying paypal Via CC?

 

I think he want to know if he can verify PP with CC of his family member.

 

If he wants to know this then answer is that yes you can but only in case if you create an account on his/her name (CC holder)

But anyways, yeah.. I found it odd that there was an option to change the first name.. but the paypal account is in my name so I suppose I cant use my other family member's CC.

 

In Asia especially amongst the Chinese, we typically have a chinese name given by our parents and some may add a 'Western' name later in life which may or may not be reflected officially. This Western name may be used on Credit Cards since most banks allows you to state whatever name you want on the card. This Western name may not be official and thus cannot be added to bank accounts, utility bills or the likes.

 

Yep you guessed it right. You can't use your family member's credit card unless you make an account on his/her name
