If a person is un-verified and clicks a PayPal BUY NOW button they can pay with a credit card. If they are verified the money comes out of their bank account and the credit card is just a back-up in case the bank account has insufficient funds. Is there someway a verified member can pay directly from their credit card? I don't see that option.
There is an option called ' funding Source' , the Default is set to paypal balance for non-recurring sales and credit card if its a recurring type product ,Eg: monthly subscription . The buyer can choose between them when he buys your product. So my answer would be "yes" you can pay by credit card.
No direct way. But when you send payment and you have insufficient balance, it deducts that amount from your credit card.
It will use up all existing funds from your paypal account first and if there is any outstanding amount, you will be given the option to fund from your credit cards and bank accounts which you link with your account. You could set one as your default but you can change as and when needed. If what you need to pay can be funded by your existing paypal account, your credit card and bank account would not be touched.
Did you have a credit card added to your Paypal account and verify it yet ? If so, on the 'Review Your Payment' page, at the bottom you should find a 'Payment Method' which should read something like Click on the 'More Funding Options' and you can select which card to use for the payment.
