Paypal "vCard"?

    Hey.

I was talking to someone on MSN the other night, and he recommended to me that I use Paypal's "vCard" (I think that's what he called it) where Paypal make a virtual credit card that you can use to pay at places that don't accept Paypal.

Obviously the find come out of your account.

I went to the link he gave me, put in the URL of the place where I wanted to buy something and it just took me to a 404 - Not Found.

He was US and i'm UK, so I was thinking maybe this is only open to US based Paypal users.

    Thanks.

I'm a US user and I can't see how to make a PayPal VCC also..
    I think they discontinued it.

It still works. I've created a few Secure Cards in the past few weeks and just checked again with no problems.

That would be quite useful. I suppose they will release it for the UK audience in the end.

I love the paypal plug-in. I have an obsession with checking my paypal balance...Yes, I need a life. Also, I love the secure card option and the auto fill-in.

Maybe it's only for Business account holders.

Both the virtual card and plug-in links appear on my friend's Paypal Business account.
