[PAYPAL] Underage, must send photo id

    I got an awful situation here.. I'm still underage.. And Paypal limited my account saying that I need to provide photo id and cc. I can get a vcc or use my parent's cc possibly, but the photo id..

    I sent them a pic where I had covered the birth date with my fingers and they replied that important parts are covered.

    Shit.

    What can I do? If I send the real pic of my passport, what will they do? Close my accoutn and take all my money?

    I hope that someone can help me, I need my funds urgently!

    Wait till you reach their minimum age and try retrieving your money back again. Frankly you are in breach of their TOS. you would be lucky to have your money intact.

    I can't send money. I can just receive.
    So there is nothing I can do then? I would really need the money. Is there any kind of id I could send that wouldn't give out my age?

    The reason they want to see the ID is for proof of age. So, there is nothing you can do to avoid the problem, unless you do something illegal. I believe at one time they did have a student program but I do not know if that will help you now.

    The problem is nonehow related to my age. They have limuted because they think that it was accessed by another person.
    I can't send anyone else's as they need it to verify my identity. I just need some trick to send photo id and verify my identity without showing them my age.

    Has anyone been ina situation like this before? :/

    I suppose they're finally catchin on... it used to be so easy to get an account when you were underage... even i did it (though i never used it). It's probably just a crack down on their lax behaviour...

    It isn't nice to teach a kid how to scam Pay Pal, let him live with the consequences of his actions and let him learn that rules are to be followed not broken. Teaching him to use photoshop to modify the details is just leading him on towards more dishonest. Please do not corrupt a youngster.

    I have seen a crack down in many of the online games, where underage teenagers are joining. When they are caught, their account is closed until they show proof of identity. In these cases, all money in the account went back to the online game. I am not sure how this works with a payment center, but in the online games it is a huge mess. :(
