hey fellas i got a major problem with paypal right now.i been using paypal for over a year without any problem.sometime ago 2 scammers who bought my intangible product and after recieving it filed a dispute which froze my account.

i informed paypal that it was an intangible good and all and they said they would decide. Now they decided in the buyers/scammers favors and my account is in a -500 dollars.account is limited use and with a minus balance.

what can i do?shall i just leave it and find another merchant account?will paypal hunt me down for the money that they took unrightfully from me in the first place?please keep me informed.thanks guys..

Leave your paypal balance alone in the future for a year, then start to take your first funds, you'll build a nice balance and be safe.

A similar thing happened to me about a year ago. I sold a laptop and the buyer performed a charge-back after I had withdrawn the money. Paypal did nothing.

They hired an attorney to collect from me, but I refuse to pay them. I see it as not my problem. They let themselves get scammed, they should go after him. I provided the evidence of the sale and shipping.

Good luck on this one. Paypal does not back their clients, and I never use them again. Hopefully you will have different results.

And be aware that if you have other accounts attached to your PP account, you might want to remove them/change them. They did try to to take the money they said I owed them that way.

I've seen lots of simliar threads and every one suggested to leave your paypal as it is but remove your bank account, Personal information, credit card and you will be Ok. And IMO that's the best suggestion in this case.

I too am familiar with these kinds of issues. But I now believe that we should try to alert by dicconnection our bank accounts which are attached with our paypal accounts, in such a sition. This step could be taken inorder to prevent any further losses.

we think alike but 60 days is more than enough as its maximum time for dispute although and payment can be re-opened on certain grounds withing 180 days of end of dispute

180 days dispute really sucks, I sold a eSyndicate License back in January, and the person filed chargeback after ~103 days and refund the scammer the next day of the dispute, they also took "$15" extra to cover the chargeback fee from my account

Reason i did not win: "I did not provided tracking no# for the license"

thats not all, i think PayPal has started to be unfair. Last month i bought WOW Gold from THS International Inc. due to some reason my account did not work and i filed chargeback. PayPal closed the chargeback saying i did not had enough evidence for it. After long talk with THS Sales, they told me to talk paypal as they(PayPal) took the money back when i filed the complaint last month...

It has been 4 days since i am awaiting a reply about this matter but no response, the last reply had was

    This sucks!

Talk to your bank. Mine helped me out with it. Anyone who claims you will be fine has never felt the wrong end of the Paypal stick.

There is alot of advice about these matters on the http://www.paypalsucks.com forum.
