I dislike PayPal as well, but unfortunately it is the standard form of payment on the internet. If I'm given a choice between PayPal and Moneybookers, I'll definitely pick Moneybookers, but I guess I'll just have to keep on dealing with PayPal until everyone switches.
how is google checkout? i havent tried it yet. is there anyone here who can shed some light on it? is it a good alternative to paypal?
Read the thread, then maybe you would have a remote idea what we are all talking about, we are all complaining about it, not just one person The customer support is the worst I have ever known, mainly because there isn't any! I opened a moneybooker account earlier today, and I had all my cards verified with a matter of hours. The only problem is, everyone uses PayPal, I have tried buying a server, but have not found one company that accepts moneybookers. Also, I have a few people working for me, and the only payment method they will accept is paypal! Why don't people start using moneybookers, it is far more user friendly, and simpler to use. Also the support is incredible. I asked a question earlier and got a reply within 2 hours, and the answer they sent actually answered my question. Unlike Paypal who just send you a load of irrelevant junk.
They do have some issues and need to improve, they know they are big guys in payment processing and hence taking things lightly.
I have now and it is exactly what I said. Paypal is a massive company (or extention of a company), millions of people use it and so it is hard for them to give you an amazing customer support, being personal, etc. It's the same with every big company out there. If they increased their fees then maybe they would employ more people and make it much better, but then you would all complain about high fees. It's finding a happy medium most companies find hard to do.
Yeah I have to agree, but on the other hand, I know of alot of very big companies especially in the UK, and they all have better support. I am not looking for the personal touch, it would just be nice if they provided you with a phone number to call, or an email address that you could email and get a relevant response
