PayPal temporarily suspends electronic withdrawal in India, only cheque/check

I guess this issue will be solved in a week ,

RBI will Restore NEFT service for PayPal , once PayPal works accordance to RBI


Should not take more then a week to fix this

 

Really sad news for the paypal users.

On one side our country is moving ahead in technology, and on the other RBI is trying to move backwards.

The reason why they have stopped is that “The RBI is concerned that PayPal operates as an unregistered money transfer company in India.”

Paypal introducted withdrawal code, and then PAN card numbers to be enetered, what more does RBI want ? Paypal has been operating in India since 3-4 years and RBI woke up now and say its not registered ?? Really ridiculous.

Maybe the RBI bosses did not receive their montly HAFTA !!

Indian Govt really sucks big time.

 

At present you can request for either an electronic or cheque withdrawal of funds from your PayPal account if you are an India user.

so today we can do this....

 

The best option would be to leave PayPal. They are becoming unfair with all the Indians now a days and they target more on US and European countries.

 

Well, I also got it and its bad as its gonna lot of time to cash while via Neft we used to get money in just 2 days!

 

I can't see it's 1 week issue, if that is one week then PayPal inform same but it's for long time like we faced few months ago.

 

It's not so easy to leave PayPal. Most of us online business doers depends on PayPal for transaction.

 

Absolutely wrong ! Government comes and goes..rules will be the same. And we will be facing the things like this.

 

I know, but we all know that majority of sellers in the world are Indians. So, if we all will implement the change then the buyers would also start using the alternative.

 

and what about 2500$ monthly limit ?
How we survive with this!

Better to say Good buy paypal and use Direct Methods

True, it's not easy to leave Paypal. 90% of the buyers use Paypal for making payments, why would they change their mode !!

 

Yeah that's true but which is the best alternatives of PayPal. I don't find any.

 

Moneybookers is good. They allow Wire Transfer too.

I received the same e-mail too.Why paypal is soo harsh on Indians ?

 

I don't have anything to back it up but I really believe it will get resolved much quicker as compare to last time.

 

It seems it is not with paypal.. Its RBI..

 

yes you can just call the paypal and tell the info btw they will ask the proff submit it and trasver your paypal to UAE

 

are sure RBI is playing this?
