PayPal temporarily suspends electronic withdrawal in India, only cheque/check

what is the minimum limit of cheque withdrawal now??
previously there wasa minimum limit 150$ .

so if i inititate 50$ for cheque withdrawal is it possible ??

 

I'm too very disturbed by the news. Now we can't get the money instantly like within weeks.
Indian postal system is very lazy. Things are never delivered in time.
God knows how much time they will take to deliver the PayPal checks.

PayPal should hired some courier service to deliver the check. What do you thing guys?

 

This is a bad news for all PayPal India users. Hope the electronic withdraw facility will be reinstated very soon.
For the time being, the postman becomes a more important person again.. lets start waiting for him again..

This time we cant blame PayPal. They also gave a prior notice to all the account holders..

the problem is with RBI's regulatory. They are trying to track our income and tax us. I welcome this. But they r not suggesting any ideas for this. They simply stop the service. This is like cutting the whole hand because of simple scratch on a nail.

 

Hope Paypal does not stop its service to Indians in its entirety in the next quarter.

This sucks big time and is pretty de-motivating, we're just heading back to stoneage.

 

i got same email like you all, paypal should start wire transfer like money bookers , I think some thing with our Indian government, Governments making plan fu.... us all ...

 

If the problem is from RBI then why not Paypal start Wire transfer in USD? likes other companies do.

friend let me tell you even if paypal starts bankwire RBI will create problems in that too....it should not happened again the problem was very much solved in feb..most of us had submitted pan numbers what else does rbi want........

 

i think this is gonna take long its mentioned in the mail from 1st aug electronic transfers will be suspends so this means paypal is making us ready for long haul.....

The limit for cheque withdrawing is 150$, but wait for paypal they will change it to lower.
