I guess paypal has already suspended the Electronic Transfer for Indians. If you go withdraw using ET and when you click on Currency Calculator the page is not loading and some errors. So i guess we shouldn't panic and withdraw the money, let it be in Paypal. This problem will be solved soon. Since Paypal makes fortune and almost 7% comes from India. So they will never leave us.

And you really think that Moneybookers won't be having any RBI issues, just like paypal having now?
Things that are popular gets targeted, its just a matter of time when other alternatives will start having blows from strict RBI policies too, then again we'll have to think of an another alternative. And the process keep moving on and on....!

I am sure they won't have. Moneybookers is not small right now also. They have lot of Indian users using it and they do withdraw the same as PayPal allows. And also I am sure they won't abuse there power like PayPal does with there users.

It means you can not pay from your Paypal account to any other person and only fund can be withdrawn ( and that too in the form of Cheque.)

    So, this is it:

Paypal (or RBI?) wants we Indians to be slaves forever. And get your salary paid only after we drill your a$$es badly & that too isn't sure..

RBI is making it tough for us.
I have a suggestion. I request every freelancer to send atleast one email to the RBI and explain them how their policies affecting us. I don't know if it would work . But there is nothing to lose.
We can contact them by going to this link.- http://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/helpdesk.aspx

Sounds like morons in RBI want to pull India back to stone ages, can't these buggers do their work without affecting the service or bringing issues in to public domain *CRAP*

The best is not to withdraw funds until the online transfer service resumes, bcoz the cheque is sent through ordinary post. And we all know how indian governmental service works.

dont forget that the cheque withdrawal limit is $2500 monthly. If you want to withdraw more, you have to call paypal and they will increase the limit temporarily. i hope the media will play a role and i hope they will tell what exactly the problem is and how it can be resolved.
