paypal said in their user agreements you must be 18 years old. but there is no field to type date of birth when i signup. and i am still 17 years....

And for that you say Paypal sucks. Paypal basically trust the user to fill in the right details and to read and comply to the terms of the contract and you blame for trusting you.

Well, it would be a breach of their terms if you sign up when you are not 18 years old and above and if they find out, you will get into trouble.

Of course, there are some people who sign up under 18 years old and ignore the terms, some get caught while others did not. But that does not make it the right thing to do.

Just wait another year and then sign up when all are cool.

Paypal doesn't suck, i have been using it for about a year now and it has been great. I'm 17 btw ;)

It's not that i like breaking the rules, but i had no choice since i work as a spanish - english translator and get paid via Paypal.

Rules are rules. We should always follow the system and not encourage others to break rules.Let us always follow the policy and procedures of a company before we deal with them.

However we should be able to criticize rules there are valid problems with. We should follow rules, so if we don't like them the best option is not to break them, but to exercise our right to free speech and critique the rules and try to change the system when it is not good.

    Agree?
