    Now xoom and paypal offers almost same exchange rate so Paypal is better as there is no fee ;)

    Paypal offer:

    Current Exchange Rate:
    US$ 1.00 = INR 38.0347

    Xoom offer:

    Current Exchange Rate:
    US$ 1.00 = INR 38.1542

    Hey, anyone tried with Bank Of India

    I have my account number as LL NNNNN
    L= letter N = number

    It doesn't accept my this number as its in my passbook.
    I added the bank account without LL to my account, but I tried a withdrawal which has been reversed or in other words, cancelled. I received $2 after I requested $10 withdrawal. Therefore, 50 INR withdrawal fee and 250 INR reversalcancellation fee is charged.

    I've worked with SBI, ICICI, HDFC and Axis Bank. All work just fine, but not this one.

    Please advise.

    Now most banks like Bank of Baroda,State Bank Of India covered under core banking so they changed all bank account numbers few months back as far as i know so maybe your account number also changed. Go and check with your bank for this.

    In Paypal loginto your account and click on withdrawal option. There you find Currency Calulation button.

    In Xoom go here https://www.xoom.com/fees for current exchange rate.
