    Yes! I think he can use his brothers name and bank account for the withdrawal. Because paypal only locked last name. So he can change first name easily....

    Just downloaded the exel sheet of IFSC codes. Appears to be same as my bank code. Just an ICIC..... and the bank area code.

    in paypal it is showing completed, but when i updated my bank's pass book, there is no mention about it, no transaction, no money:eek:
    i will update it again on Monday!

    It is showing in paypal account that you did a EFT.... So we are doing Electronic Funds Transfer.... I have NetBanking account and NetSafe account with HDFC Bank. Do we need to separately register for EFT in HDFC?

    you don't need a special banking account Paypal will send it to your HDFC bank directly, ofcourse all NFT's EFT comes via RBI thats a reason there's a little delay.

    Update: I got $10 on my HDFC bank account today Afternoon. Took 4 days including Sunday. I think the transfer will be done within 3 days. My account showing "NEFT (some numbers) PayPal Private" etc... etc..

    So the test transfer is success.... In the future, I can simply transfer money from PayPal to my Bank and it will reflect as NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer, so the money comes from Indian PayPal funds). Only PayPal charged Fee, Bank did not charged any fee.....

    on 02-Nov.-2007, initiated a sample transfer from paypal to my icici.
    Although paypal is showing as transfer completed, it is yet to reflect on my ICICI bank account.
    Checked using phone banking an hour ago.

    I think it will take 1 day more.

    Paypal will surely transfer the amount to your bank accounts . So do not worry . It takes 3-4 days official Not Including Sundays. So those who did not get it on SUnday will get it Today I think so
