That keeps on changing as your post count increases..
From peon to spirit walker, to wind raider, blademaster etc.

You can check the available banks from the withdrawal help page.

ICICI bank, as it has largest network in India. even in small towns and has excellent online banking features.

HDFC Bank can be your second choice but they have less ATM and branches than ICICI.

SBI (state Bank of India) if you don't have above two options cause you may have to wait hours in their branch for even a small work even if its a computerized branch.

ICICI and HDFC have some same branches. Also I have an account in HDFC bank and I prefer them because they have the NetSafe facility. From this NetSafe, you can create virtual credit cards.....

yops netsafe from HDFC is added advantage

I have both ICICI and HDFC but hate to visit HDFC due to long queues they have full of their agents dropping in Huge cash in bags. its a WASTE OF TIME for me or my staff in case i need urgent funds for online access.

Don't worry about that because they just started this service so they will surely add other banks soon there.

Wow! This transfer to bank service is cool. I had ordered the transfer on Wednesday at about 4:45 pm. And now received it on Friday without any hassles. Had used Bank of India.

    Really good service efficiency.

    Regards,
    ~KMKM

Friends, stop crying about supported banks. The banks already supported are having branches throughout country. Opening a bank account is very easy, not as hard as you're opening a US Bank account from India.

Just go to nearest branch and open one. If it needs waiting for some time at the bank branch, its worth it because that'd enable to get your funds within a week, which is lot better the waiting for check, then waiting for it to be cleared(Few banks do it in minutes, while some may take upto few days).

At least with cheque, you have access to your funds after at least 25 days, while with Bank Transfer, its few days, atm, less than a week.

Also, why don't open an account when the banks don't charge any maintenance fee or such? Though some of the require minimum balance, but that doesn't matters as the money you've in your account is yours, not the bank.
