    Make sure it's investing account, not bank account. I live in Asia too and opened one successfully by filling the form and send it via DHL to etrade.

    PayPal sucks anyway, look at all the effort your going through to do business with them. Once you start it will only get worse because they are a juggernaut and they don't care about you. Look for another service. Try Moneybookers, Xcoin, E-Gold, Xoom or something else. I'm not sure what's available to you as Asia is a pretty big place, and I don't know exactly what country you are from. Good Luck

    Well for verification they work in paypal too...I used a virtual card genrated by my visa debit card.
    But after that verification they needed to transfer some $2.95 i remember...but i was having problem with doin online shopping using my virtual credit card from some hosting companies....so i didn't tried to transfer that money to Paypal.
