I dont think there is a way to hide your login name, its the email address with which the account is registered.
Isn't it possible to add another email address to your paypal account? Just sign up for a free gmail address and add it.
Well, Paypal is a business which is above board and it believes in Transparency. If you want to hide your name then go to your local Chamber of Commerce and start a DBA or incorporate a company then once you do that, upgrade your paypal account to a business account with the name you registered. You will then also need a bank account in your business name to complete the deal.
i did the exact same thing. I just added a new email address and upgraded my account to a business account. Now all they see is the alternate email address and the business name.
If you wish to hide all traces of your name, choose an e-mail which does not contain your name as well as a business name ( which does not contain your name either)
You name is identity. Do you want yourself to be called Dear They have a minimum standard, and they cannot go lower than that. What you register, upon sign up is final, and cannot be changed in future unless you provide a court affidavit.
I already did it. I made a couple of secondary email address and I understand that when you create a button, you can choose what email address can ve shown not showing your full identity
You cannot hide the name. It isnt shown up in the page when PayPal asks to login or confirms the payment, but it is shown in PayPal transactions.
Exactly. Go to your county clerk. Register a DBA. It's like $10-25. Then go to your local bank, and open a business account. Then get your credit card. Now you can put your Paypal and other business transactions all in your business name. Also add in the business url, or register one. Problem solved qtip.
Business account is free, only limitation is that you can withdraw only to a bank account under the business name, or checks are issued under the business name. But that can be solved if you've a bank account with registered business.
