PayPal shopping cart and International shipping?

    I use PayPal shopping cart for my online store. I have a flat rate shipping for each item. Is there a way I can automate shipping cost by wieght of product and location to be shipped (including international shipping)? Is PayPals shopping cart capable of this or do I need to integrate some other program?

    PayPal is not a shopping cart but a payment processing service. So what you would need to do is find shopping cart software program like the open-source and free program called oscommerce. But there are many other options that you can use that may fit your situation a bit better.

    You may try Avactis Shopping Cart. As I know it supports both PayPal payment method and flat shipping rates.

    You can also try Virtuemart (a Joomla extension). It allows shipping methods to be set when ordering a product so that requirement of yours would be covered, too. And is quite flexible to customizations.
