Does anyone knows how this works? Lets say its not verfied and I want to send more money. If I get more money in my account does this raises the sending limits? Also how is the sending limit determined? Its is determined by how much you can send monthly? or yearly?
Ermm the sending limit for an unverified account is like $799 or something...just look it up on paypals site?? I mean once you hit the limit that's all you get, you have to verify after that. No, obtaining more money doesn't effect the limit.
for unverified accounts it's like.. $50 daily from what i know. in time, it increases. Right After you verify it, you could send $500/Euro daily.
It differs from country to country. Some have monthly limits of $500 while some have total limit of $500. All in all, Paypal never expects anyone to remain unverified for more than several months while they wait for their credit card statement to arrive to complete the verification process.
Agree with you eddy on this. Its differs from country to country. Indian unverifieid paypal account has only $100 sending limit for lifetime DON.
(personal account)You can get it up to a $2000 sending limit without verifying it with a bank account. At least thats how it works for a US account anyway.
Damn it, That means I got to get it verfied. I've used it unverfied for like a year already. I'm sure I spend more than a couple thousand. But now it says i can spend $80 left. So I guess I got to deal with the bank account stuff.
I believe the sending limit is representitive of the ammount you withdraw from your card or bank account, and doesn't include any funds you have currently on your account.
... and you can buy (see buy, sell, or trade) Virtual Credit Card for PP, it cost i think 3-4 $ , you can raise you limit with the VCC
why so low for indians when other country have more then $500.... i think indian paypal have the lowest send limit... and i believe its not right how they treat us....
Not really... You can probably buy a lot more crap in indian than in Canada. It's purchasing power -_-
Guys, pipe down here. Basically, Unverified Accounts are not a permanent status and Paypal just want give you a little leeway to use the account while you wait for your credit card statement to complete the verification process. You should not remain unverified for more than a month if you do not have online banking facility and maybe a week if you do. So there is really nothing to worry about it. Everyone supposed to get verified or else how you think they know you are for real and that you provide real information during sign up. It is all about building trust. If you cannot verify the account with a bank issued credit card or bank account then Paypal is probably not the platform for you.
Well, I don't have credit card, but VISA debit card (Verified by VISA), I tried many times to register on paypal, but it did not work, later I came to know, only US debit card can be used to be verified on paypal. Anyway, I have added my Indian bank account, anybody have idea, whether I can be a verified paypal member by adding this bank account? Will it help me to increase sending limit? Thanks in advance!
