As per paypal website.. Paypal allows anybody from following country to send money..

Is that means they cannot receive any payments from other paypal users.. Say a guy from USA wants to pay the following countries paypal.. so is that means the guy from USA cannot send money to albania or algeria or any of the following paypal holders??

or is it mean they can send receive money but cannot withdraw their account balance??

please experience persons who have dealed with this issue reply here..

    thanks in advance

These people on this list can be customers by buying products and services from those people from the list of countries which can receive payments.

Unless you are not aware, there are actually more customers on Paypal then sellers. So this works out well.

    Hello,

I have experienced what you say. I am from Peru a "send only" country.

A paypal account in Peru can send money, but it can't receive money from anyone from any country and can't withdraw money.

These accounts can buy; however, how can someone fund their account if you can't receive... I am not sure but I think you can use a US bank account.

So, paypal in "send only" countries is not very useful.

    I hope I have help you. :)

It is useful because it gives the sellers who can receive funds through Paypal a bigger market base and not just within the limited countries. Like I say, DP is not representative of the world at large, not everyone is a seller. There is a lot more people who are potential customers and that what makes selling so attractive. If there is all sellers and no buyers then it is useless.

Paypal requires you to use a Credit Card to Verify your account, that serves as two functions, one is to ascertain the accuracy of your details and also to fund your purchases. You do not need to have a positive balance in paypal and as long as your credit card is active, you can use it to make purchases.

I use Paypal a lot to buy CD Albums from MySpace and mostly funded through my credit card.

maybe this will solve your inquiry :
all e-money websites have two list

    1 countries that receive
    2 countries that send

so of course there is countries that can send and receive

that list above is for countries that can receive

Surf4fun, If you want a concrete answer, go to https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-country-functionality-outside or click on 'Worldwide' when you go to http://www.paypal.com .

You should see a Dropdown list for the supported countries. Just select yours, wait a while for the screen to refresh and it can tell you if you can receive and/or send and whether you can withdraw funds.

Basically what yoozy said is inaccurate, I just checked and Algeria can only Send money and not receive. It states clearly on the link given above.

Yes, we are talking about Paypal here. Of course if you use the banking platform or Western Union, you can send money or receive money from anywhere.

In Paypal, you can fund your Paypal account to make purchases but other people on Paypal cannot pay you through Paypal. They can however pay you through other means.

Well if you are the seller then the "send only" countries are very useful as a market, I agree with you eddy2099. However if you are a buyer who can't fund his/her account (sort of like me), then it is kind of problematic. :p

Well, actually if you want to join Paypal, you need to have a credit card to verify your account and also to fund your purchase. Without a credit card, access to online purchases can be very restricted.

I am a buyer only anyways and I use my credit card to pay through Paypal. Now since I have affiliate income, I have them send the money to Paypal.

Actually even if you do not receive or spend a lot of money, you need to get your account verified or else it would hit your maximum limit and you will not be able to use your account for any spending and you cannot withdraw what you have earn.

Paypal never intended for your account to remain unverified for long, just long enough for your credit card statement to come so you can enter the expander use program code.

Yes, I agree with Eddy. It's always best to verify anyway.

If your account is send only but if you want to receive money there is a workaround. But there are limitation to this method such as transaction limit of 500$. I guess its better than nothing receive money to PayPal send only accounts

You want have a problem with unverified accounts as long as you don't receive huge sums. It is a bit hard to withdraw money from unverified accounts and there are withdrawing limits as well. Also an unverified account has a sending limit of 1000$ , after you send that much you can't send anymore.
