    If you accept payment as Service then your seller reputation wont counted. Accept all your payment as GOODS then you can see the increase of sellers reputation.

    Dont say previously you was received all your reputation from Service payment. After paypal changed the new design of is site, so that this seller reputation is not counted for Service payment

    Guys, the Paypal system isn't perfect at all, don't expect these guys to have the professional qualities of google. There's a lot of Paypal scams out there which you guys simply don't hear about because you're business owners who earn money for Paypal.

    Google checkout ftw in my opinion. I do like the concept of seller rep. though...

    Actually i came to say that they changed their paypal reputatuion system from when they release their New design with new programming. I do not confirmed with this paypal customer service. But this project as been taken by famous Indian IT company. My friend working in that paypal project only. so i came to know through him.

    @Mr_Kumar : 100% i am not joking

    May be you are not joking, but seller means anyone who is selling product or service. So, your logic (may be its not your logic, you heard it from somewhere) don't seems to be logical.

    From your point of view you can say that its not logic. But Service is like you working for some others, you are not selling anything. I mean you are doing service and client paying for your work. Btw there is no physical product in the deal
    If i am wrong then please correct me :)

    If you are working for money, doesn't it mean you are selling your service??? Pradeep.... it is selling.

    And if it is not selling then what is it??:D

    Can you tell exactly when this new design came into being? Because my paypal reputation has not updated for a long time, maybe this can verify how truth your assertion is :p

    I have a premier PP account and the reputation is 63 for the last 5 months, but as far as my experience is concern it does not harm at all, after all PP is not DP. so do not worry if it is not increasing, it would take few more months then you will get an updated reputation count no. just next to your name.

    Could be this:

    Seller Reputation Number

    Reputation Numbers help PayPal members evaluate the trustworthiness of the people they do business with. The Seller Reputation Number represents the total Verified Members who have paid a seller.

    It says "Verified Members"

    Source = https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/cps/securitycenter/sell/ToolsToBuildBuyer-outside

    Plus yes I agree that they do update from time to time. Not on regular basis. But never had any problems in my case though.
