Many Indian users received an alleged phishing mail with their real name used for greeting.
The thread to that issue can be found here : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1762343

eweek reports here : http://www.eweek.com/c/a/Security/PayPal-Patches-Critical-Security-Vulnerabilities-807636/ that a critical vulnerability in the Paypal system has been recently patched.
A part of the news is as follows :
So maybe this vulnerability had already been exploited to get some information for the phishing mails.
