Need help on this one, I'm getting this message everytime I try to log into my paypal.

We are currently performing regular maintenance of our security measures. Your account has been randomly selected for this maintenance, and you will now be taken through a series of identity verification pages.

Protecting the security of your PayPal account is our primary concern, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
    Code (markup):
Then it asks me for my credit card number. The only options are submit and log out.

The address that the page is on is a https:// from paypal. Is it safe?

Looks some phishing SH**t to me. Be VERY careful and email Pay Pal directly before you even think about putting in your credit card.
