What happens when you receive a paypal payment?

    1. Is your real name disclosed to the person who pays you?

    OR

just your email address will be shown to the donor?

    Please clarify.

Only those who have received paypal payments reply.

If my name would be displayed, then what do I do to not disclose my real name to the donors.

    thanks for your time.

Yes if it's personal account, you could show the "Company Name" if your account is premier/business.

It is a premier account. How do I make it display Company Name instead of my personal name?

Company is not a recognized company.

    No worries,it's okay.
Log into PP--->Profile--->Add Business Information (I'm afraid you should upgrade your pp to Business account at first :( )

But if you set up your account as a Business Account, you have to ensure that you are registered because all checks or EFT would have to be made in your company's name.

I believe that a Personal or a Premier account allows you to have your name displayed to your buyer.

It is not a bad thing because at least this way, you know who you are dealing with and they know who you are so at least there can be less hanky panky going around.

PayPal will deposit funds into a personal checking account so you CAN have a Business account with PayPal even if your business name is not registered. Worse case scenerio, however, is to setup a business checking account with a DBA.

Cool! I did not know that. I saw the warning in Paypal which states that if the name does not match the account, it would be rejected. At least that's what I remembered. I did not know that was not the case. Thanks for the info.
