Someone bought a listing on one of my directories for a WHOLE £1, and it was there for 5 months - then I got a chargeback (had to refund the money) for the whole £1. It was more time than it was worth for me to type an explaination to paypal saying the person hPd bought a link and it had been there for 5 months already - but I did it anway and Paypal STILL refunded the money to the guy!! Is this normal behaviour from Paypal?, and more to the point...normal for directories? thanks in adv for your thoughts James.
£1 chargeback, and the payment was made 5 months ago? Absurd! The person who paid you must be experiencing some financial difficulties.
LOL- I tell you, I was shocked... hopefully he bought some fries and choked on them It took me at least 25 minutes to write a well worded explaination to Paypal, just to save £1 - which I ended up not even saving! I'm guessing this tiny amount doesn't happen very often? James.
TBH that thought never crossed my mind....and oddly 3 months seems to ring a bell s'pose I had better find out in preperation for next time, LOL James.
6 months for some companies, up to a year for Amex. Its really annoying. Anyways, you've got to be seriously touched in the head to scam anyone over $2, not to mention 5 months later though a chargeback...
