I have a question about paypal Do all buyers have to have a paypal account to pay me? say they want to pay with their credit card, and dont have paypal, is there an option within paypal to pay someone without having a paypal account? Maybe with Primier account or business? or any website checkout options?
Yes, with a Premier or Business account you can receive payments from non-paypal members via credit cards but they will still need to be from paypal supported countries. What you do is to use the Merchant services to set up the Buy Now button / link or a Paypal generated Email Invoice which they can use to pay you. They will be invited to sign up for Paypal but it is not compulsory.
Well, what he seem to be saying is that some of his buyers are not from Paypal supported countries..can they still pay him using paypal ? You might like to try moneybookers and their escrow service for this bro, www.moneybookers.com
your wrong. thought you knew about chargeback since you trade money online=)) anyway a chargeback is be done from the CREDIT CARD company. paypal have nothing to do with chargeback... all credit card payment can be chargeback at anytime the card holder want... even if the buyer dont have a paypal, he/she can still take the money back just by filing a chargeback... a chargeback can be made upto 1 year under special condition... and to make a special condtion it is really easy... all the buyer have to do is tell bunch of lies to the card issuer and they will take the money back from you after one year...
hmm.. i thot charge back n dispute to be somewhat smiler.. at least both of them end up with sellers loos
With a Dispute, Paypal still has some control over the outcome. With a Chargeback, any payment processor would be totally powerless as the bank decides on the fate of the transaction.
