Let's say, I live in a country where paypal is not available. If I have a friend in the US, is it possible if he can create a paypal for me? will paypal freeze the account if they knew that the account belongs to a person where paypal is not available.. any ideas?
your friend can recieve the money for you, sure. nothing wrong with that. question is: do you trust him enough? otherwise, just open an account with citibank (difficult though, have to go all the way to Jalan Ampang). since citibank is a US bank, paypal can directly wire the funds into your citibank account.
You can create one yourself. Just mention a country from the Paypal list and continue registration . The problem will be that you can not receive money . You still can pay for the service like directory submissions, buying links etc. But you can not sell anything. I know several users from coutries that do not support Paypal. But you still can contact Paypal support and ask for their advice before registering
