Paypal question

    Hi,

    I have paid s fairly large sum to a guy who I have heard on the grapevine is in dispute with paypal and I have been told that my money is lost. My question is if this guy is in dispute with Paypal then surely it is up to paypal to close down the account so that funds cannot be paid to this guy. Can I try and claim the money back via paypay ? The transaction was a service ?

    If you paid by CC then you can do a chargeback. I have not seen many Service Transactions being reverted on not getting the required service.

    btw your deal went through, right? So, whats the need of a claim?

    Did you receive the service which you paid for ? If not, you can raise a dispute through Paypal.
