Am not to sure but its a elementary question for sure. i am not too sure but i was trying to figure out how much money paypal charges me for sending the money to some one in same country as well as other countries and than it charges that person as well for receiving and than for withdrawing as well ? is the understanding correct , pls advice
PayPal doesn't charge to send money, they only charge to receive money. They don't have any fees for personal accounts but you can't use Personal accounts for business purpose. You can view Receiving & Withdrawal Fees HERE
If you are using the same currency then sending money is always free. The recipient would be the one who would be charged the fees if any. Senders typically never pay fees. Of course if you are sending from your credit card in a different currency as the one you send, there would be a 2.5% foreign exchange fees on your end and your credit card company may levy an additional foreign exchange fees. For recipient, check out https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside for fees.
oh i never realised it , i have always been using my credit card to make payments i should soon transfer money to paypal account
If you are from the US, you can transfer funds to your paypal account otherwise you cannot do it. However if you are paying in US$ through a US Credit Card then there would not be any fees levied to you even if the other party is not from the US. The important thing is that the currency must be the same. the US$ is widely used so that should not be an issue.
Well, since your credit card number is not exposed to the vendors, it is pretty safe. Your card is charged on demand and only when you need to pay someone through paypal. It is instant too. No cost to you anyways. Sending funds via bank account takes several days and you may lose a nice offer.
