There is a transaction fee involve in each transaction with premier/business paypal account. Maybe its necessory for Subscribe buttons just because of you can accept unlimited CC funded payment too in your paypal account.

    DON.

Premium / Business account will charge some fee when you receive money but they provide more function such as Subscribe button. Personal account no any charge but it dont provide further function such as subscribe button

I get a little confused with paypal. I have a business account and use their buynow buttons on three of my sites. Some transactions are charged and some are not. I once had a ridiculously small payment (12cents I think) and 10cents of that was charged as a fee. However I had three payments in and out yesterday and there were no charges at all. Maybe it depends on where the payment is coming from, paypal to paypal might be free, where they charge for CC transactions. I dont know. Anyone else know more?

How is premier/business acc differnt from personal account? I only use it to receive and send money, and would be interested in a way in which Paypal doesnt take a cut

Yes, it is necessary. you cant do that in a personal account, because it will come under merchant accounts.
