Got a quick question about paypal

Just how secure is it? I recently started using it and currently my account is unverified. And now I'm thinking of requesting paypal to send me a check, but they require you to verify your address by putting in your credit card number.

So to the people who've been using paypal for a long time, is it safe to input my credit card number? I don't want it to get stolen by hackers or whatever..

The reason I'm worry is because 1) its the internet and 2) I know someone who got their paypal account hacked awhile back...

    thanks in advance

100% safe if you are smart enough to never click on an email link.

Always login to your account to verify any email messages received. I have been a member since 2000 with zero problems.

First, use trusted antivirus to check your computer.

BTW, PayPal is a trusted SSL certificated server, so you don't need to worry.

In my opinion they are very safe. Just make sure that every email that "comes from" them, really comes from them.

If they want to contact you about a problem with your account there will always be info about it on your account. So if you get something, just log into your PayPal and check.
