I have my paypal account in limited access. On their resolution page they says:

What can I do while my account access is limited?
    receive payments
place logos into your auction listings or on your website
    update your account information

What can't I do while my account access is limited?
    send or request money
electronically transfer funds from your PayPal account
    close your account.

I want to ask, If I can withdraw money via US Bank Account if my Indian PayPal is in limited access?
    Anyone tried this?

    Please will be appreciated.

Well, no you cannot withdraw money via a US Bank Account if your account is in limited access. It did say you cannot 'electronically transfer funds from your PayPal account' so basically it means you have no access to your money anymore.

Check with Paypal on how to life the limited access status. Sometimes, faxing them documents to proof that you are who you said you are and living in the address that you state and using a real credit card would lift that.

Arcguy, it depends. If you have done something wrong like signed up for a Paypal account where you are residing in a country which is not Paypal-approved, or use a fake address or use a VCC card where you cannot provided proof of the credit card or engaged in some illegal activities then it is best to forget about the account because trying to fight back means you dig yourself an even bigger grave. So you are doing something wrong with your own admission, you did not belong to a Paypal-approved country that is why they lock your account http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=275719 .

Do not fear, Idiot Inside. I believe Arcguy's experience is different from yours.

However, if you are not doing anything wrong and you comply fully with their Term of Services and Accepted Usage Policy then you have nothing to fear. If you have not read them yet, now is a great time to do so. Yes, Paypal will not eat up your money if you do things by the book.

Sometimes Paypal limit your account because they find some irregularly like access not from your stated country, sudden huge money transaction, unverified account, dealing with fraudsters, deal with illegal activities against AUP, too much complains about you, negative balance or they just doing a random check.

Well, whether it is a local or a US bank, you need to have the same name on the bank account with Paypal as that would be submitted by them as a safeguard. If it is different, it will fail.
