PayPal question(basic)

    I have a quick question about paypal.

    Does anybody know how to check if someone has an active paypal account,like I seen it once,but you know how it is when surfing the web,if you don't pay attention you will forget where the hell you been.

    Please help.....A link will do fine...Thx 44

    Well, I will usually just log into my paypal account then go to 'Send Money' then type the email address and proceed from there. The next page will tell you if the person has a valid account or not. As long as you do not click 'Send Money' on the Review page, no money is sent.

    If the party does not have a Paypal account, it will show up next to the email address of the other party, this message 'This recipient is not yet registered. PayPal will send an email to the recipient explaining how to complete your transaction.'.

    If it is a valid address, it will tell you the type of account the person has.

    paypal also shows you if the one you are sending or paying if it is a business account is a verified users. you can see the status of the paypal account your sending money or getting money from..
