Paypal Queries

    Hey guys!! I have a personal account in Paypal and I'm from India..

    I'm still not 18 and my outgoing limits are $50.. I need to withdraw $150 so I need to request it from Paypal itself..

    I have a bank account and I can withdraw checks from it..

    The problem is, will the check sent by paypal be valid in these banks?? And will it be a problem if i;m not 18?? I somehow have a paypal account.

    Please give suggestions

    Are you talking about banks in India? If so, I'm pretty sure the bank will clear it for you if it is in your name (and your account accepts it)

    I once got a check from the UK [I live in Australia] - It took 30 days to verify, convert and clear finally to receive the funds.

    Will I need a verified account to request checks? And paypal's help page says it takes 4-6 days...

    Just to clarify, are you putting money INTO your PayPal, or WITHDRAWING [as in taking OUT] the money from your PayPal?

    I'm verified, and it takes 3-5 days directly [electronically] into my bank account. You'll have to check if they will allow you, but I see no reason why not, there could be a fee though (Because PayPal loves taking our money)

    I dont have a verified account and I dont think I can transfer online... HOw about exchanging the money PP to INR here in DP?? But I need a verified account :(

    I got a personal a/c too and they say my limit is zero though I have never made or withdrwn any amount from paypal. i am from India. Beats me completly. Need to withdraw quite a handsome amount.

    They say I'll have to verify using a credit card. Any help.

    Limit is for sending money to users but it doesnt apply for requesting checks i think

    You might be making the situation a lot worse if you have too much money into your PP and it will look suspicious. Try see what other Indians are doing and they will help out :)

    I didnt understand and by the way I dont have that amount in PP which can be suspicious

    I have around $180 thats all.. And why should one be suspicious???

    I have another account with only $20 or something in it and still the limit is zero for sending as well as withdrawing?? Now what? Help guys...

    Maybe send the money to someone you know, they will send money to you electronically, or through the mail [which is illegal in some countries] and you can clear it in India.

    You don't need a CC for a PP account. Any account [premier/business] will work.
