I got this message when i wanted to buy something "You have reached a limit on your ability to send money. Please link and confirm a debit or credit card to lift this limit."
I entered a different card and i still get this message, although i have 2 active credit cards now.
I'm from romania and paypal comes with some limitations. What if i upgrade to premier or bussiness ,will that solve the problem?

As far as I know, adding a card does not mean that you have link it.

There should be an option for your to link the card when you login. You may try to look at the left nevigation bar when you log in.

just a short question for you ... HOW much did you spend thru paypal ?:)

    my advice :
    1. log into your account ( tipe in the browser your email and password ) DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINK witch you get into mailbox !
    2. Go to your VIEW LIMITS and check whats there sayd cleary ... I`m sure you can read english well so there will be nothing more than to follow the rules !

Hey Catalin, i'm having same issues here... how did you solve the problem? PP has been such a pain these last weeks.. i just registered a month ago with them but completed all the verification steps, had couple of resolution cases to settle...
i called their US toll free and as usual "Due to the way our security system was designed" blah blah.. Sorry sir there's nothing else we can do about it you can try adding a new card... " I'm going to try other options will let you know if it works..
in the meantime waiting for your answers..

ok thx.. thats what i thought.. anyway here's an update.. i tried with another seller and it worked.. not sure if that was because amount was lesser.. i have another option to try: settle via Skype just waiting for the seller to reply..

OK folks.. this is what i understood.. this is not a really a problem but just another security measure.. so basically there are some suspicious factors that trigger this message.. my seller didn't reply yet so the only option is to wait and try again as told by PP.. :)
