Hi someone wanted to buy a book of my site and questioned the use of paypal. Before I had time to answer they sent a payment to the contact email address on my site, this is not the address registered with paypal.

Now it is asking me to open an account to claim my money back, so I can't even refund the money, any ideas on what to do?

Register a paypal account with that email account.
How many accounts do you have at the moment?

If you have already paypal account with other email address then add your contact email address in that paypal account if you have access control of that contact email address.

I have 2 at the moment, so this is the only way then?

I was hoping to be able to refund and take payment another way, but if this is the only way then fair enough.

    Thanks Paul

    I'm afraid so.
However since you already have 2 accounts,I'd recommend you do what deluxdon has suggested.
Log into your existing paypal and add another email address.
