You really can't do anything but submit proof that you delivered the digital product. But since showing evidence of a digital good was delivered is impossible. You can edit and photoshop anything. They will most likely win the dispute. I got burned for $110 in web design work I did with this loop hole in paypal.
Make sure first that this mail is really from PayPal. If it's so, follow their instructions to "clear" this transaction. You have nothing to worry about.
I have had that message before but i lost out on $100 paypal needs to do something about this and a potition could sort it
That guy in all probability will win the dispute. You can do much about this except submit yourself to paypal's rules.
Yeah... seems like you've lost out there... just thank yourself lucky it was only a small amount. I hate those people that do that, and i can see many people do aswell. Usually the buyer will always win a dispute, ebay offer a similarly rubbish policy on these kind of things
you got fradulant payment.... and since you sold digital product so your proof will not be accepted by paypal... so you will lose the money no matter what.... i use to have this same problem at lot also.... so becareful next time and log all IP's of your buyers so that you can match the IP geo location with the paypal address.... this is a very good way that really work to stop frauds from buying your products and later setup disputes...
