    Hey guyz,

I want to change my "Account Type" from Premier to Standard, due to the fact that Paypal cuts off the charges on the $ debited/recieved by me.Can anyone suggest me, how to do so???
Or should I just make a new personal account ????

If you have only one Premier account & no other account, you can get a Personal account. PayPal allows one Personal + one Premier/Business account.
Also, you can mail them to downgrade your current account to a Personal account, if you do not wish to create another account.

    Thanks

Yes, you can contact Paypal and tell them that you want to downgrade to a personal account. They were communicate with you via email and it should take a few days to complete.

However note that once you downgrade to the Personal account, you are NOT allowed to use the account for commercial purposes and that includes selling anything and getting money through paypal for it. Because doing so would breach the terms of the contract with Paypal.

So only downgrade if you are sure you are not going to sell anything through paypal forever.

If you believe you will be selling something within the forseeable future than you can create a personal account on top of your premier account for your personal purposes. However you cannot ask anyone to pay you through your personal account to avoid the fees as this would be a breach of Paypal terms yet again.

Try never to think you can outsmart Paypal for a few bucks because they are smarter and bigger than you think. :)

i suggest you making a personal account then (provided you only have a premier/business account already)..use this if a pp member sends you funds directly from their bank account and not by credit card..
