PayPal Premier Or Business?

Hi All,

One of my friend wants to start reseller hosting business and he wants to have PayPal is also one of the gateway to his site. At present he is holding verified Premier PayPal account. Does he compulsory has to have Business PayPal account to accept payments for his reseller host business? Or verified Premier would serve the purpsoe.

As he wants to do buisness so go for business Paypal

 

in business account PayPal expecting company name. But, he is not registered any organization or company with Govt at present. All he has is his valid PAN (Income Tax Card), savings Bank A/C, few credit cards of his own. He actually new to this business and he wants to register any firm once he see some profits in his business.

Any suggestions out of your experience would be appreciated.

You should be fine with a Premier acct. I know people running ecom with regular ( old ) paypal accts.

 

Thanks for info. Some where in PayPal help I remember that the only difference between Premier and Business is only one. More than one can operate business account, where as premier only one. But I was not sure about only one being the difference. So I wanted to get openion from those who are not holding business but managing some services business like hosting with premium.

Go with business Paypal if you have business certification.

 

That's fine to use your premium account to run the business, the only disadvantage is you cant use your company name with premium account.

 

Thanks to Lifeplayer and sufia for advice. From your comments I understood there is no need to wait to add PayPal to his business till he manage to get certificate from Govt authorities.

Go for paypal business.. for him to have safer transactions and to have greater favor in disputes

 

I believe you have to have a valid business cert in order to use business.
