PayPal pocketed my money?

That is true. However, i don't have the £8.84, neither does the seller on eBay (according to him).

    Did PayPal pocket my money?

I need to verify this is correct. I don't want to be scammed, or pay twice for the same thing.

You shouldn't be trying to pay for something if you haven't got the funds. Probably the bank charged you the money for the inconvenience of the failed transaction.

CountryBoy, i had the funds at the time, then something else took my money.

Mate, this transaction has cost me £36 (£28 bank fees, £8.84 stolen by paypal).

Everyone makes mistakes, but i have learned from mine. I will never make this mistake again..
