Unfortunately, for the US people, who would have the opportunity to create vcc's to shop anywhere online, has been discontinued by PayPal weeks ago. If you are one of those people who wanted to get it , and want PayPal to bring it back go here: https://www.paypal-community.com/t5.../A-Petition-GET-PAYPAL-PLUG-IN-BACK/td-p/4416 If you don't know what PayPal plugin was, that was open for months, years, whatever, it was a plugin off your browser that allowed you to create multiple (even delete them) VCC's to shop anywhere like amazon or ANYWHERE that accepted credit cards. This VCC's money source is your balance in your paypal, much easy! and safer than using your own real cc or debit. Because with these, you can instantly delete them, create a new, etc. BUT NO , PAYPAL HAD TO STOP THAT PROGRAM! Anyways, just wanted to get word that that they SHOULD still have it going. It was the safest bestest way to pay on sites ever.
My CC# with paypal still works as of a couple of days ago. Does this mean current plugin users are still allowed to keep on using their old VCCs they created on their account?
I wish I had known about this before sounds like a great way to protect your real cc when dealing with small or unknown companies
VCC's created by paypal before the discontinuation date still works. However, I was not enrolled in time to have it working.
The paypal virtual debit cards are still working. I just generated one and used it. I don't know who told you they stopped doing it.
