PayPal Phone Verification Question

Hello,

When PayPal ask to confirm location and ask to Add new Credit Card and Then Phone Verification

Which number PayPal will call ?? the phone number that exist in my paypal account profile or the phone number that used in the CreditCard ??

 

I Assume the one in yur paypal account profile

Phone numbers aren't associated with credit cards so it's obviously the PayPal number

 

It is definitely the phone number you added to the Paypal account.

paypal will call in the number that u added to ur PP account,as far my experience it is an automated call asking you to press some numbers on you phone's keypad,dont worry they will tell which numbers to press but be careful cos it's only one time and listen very carefully and work fast,cos if u fail then there's no second call from them.

This is actually pretty inaccurate

The phone call will tell you a pin number, I believe somewhere between 4-6 digits long. You just enter this pin number in on the phone verification screen

You can get them to call up to 3 times or even more

 

Your answer may also be inaccurate. The PIN that you will enter during the call will first be displayed on a page before a call to you is made, not during the call itself. You would then enter the PIN using your telephones keypad. I'm almost positive that you only have one chance to enter the correct PIN.

 

I don't know what country you are from where that happens but in the USA, an automated machine calls you and tells you a pin number which you enter and voila, your address is verified.

 

so there is two ways , one the phone call says the pin code and the other you must type the pin code with your mobile keypad
