Hi friends, I just want to know what is the maximum amount(per month) that we can accept in our personnel account(Indian).

Is there any limit. What if i exceeds that limit.

    Thanks

U can accept any amount. But if the amount are above $500 and are a lot in number then paypal is sure to limit your account and may ask for the income source.

It seems that personal account can accept with no limit now for non-US verified account. PayPal has changed their policy. You can also withdraw with no limit if your account has been verified.

But does that gurantee that wont queston you your source of income provided its your PERSONAL account n not business.

I believe receiving heavy income in Business account should be common but if heavy payment flow in daily into a personal account they will freeze our account someday and as for the source of income and if its happened to be coming from some business then the ball will be in there court.

i suggest you against getting heavy payments in your personal account.

You can receive unlimited amount of money in personal account but some rules apply like: No business money etc
Though you can only send $500 per month.

A friend of mine from UK had a personal account and one month he exceeded his sending limit and he had to upgrade to premier for that. I'm not sure if this applies to all or he did that on his own will.

I am not Indian but there is no limit for whatever amount I can receive through my personal account if the party uses the 'Send Money' option to send you the money. However if you use the merchant feature such as the 'Buy Now' or 'eBay Payment Option', the limit would be up to US$500/mth.

The Personal account is not supposed to be used for business purposes which includes selling anything, maybe the minor occassional spring cleaning sale and thus the limit.

The Send Money option does not have the same limit because it can be used as an option where your friends send you money because you paid for his meal the night before or your friend send you money asking you to buy something for him when you visit him. Those sort of things.
