Well, I think there is some limited time like 4 or 5 days to open a dispute on a Personal payment. After that you can't do anything. - Mr.President -

To get a simple yet broad view on this, it would be suffice to say that personal accounts are devised to facilitate easy transfer of money between family and friends. This is the same reason why I do not understand why Paypal allows chargeback on personal payments? I mean... why would anybody need to charge back, money given to family/friends! Regards, RightMan
When dealing with personal payments, the only reason for a chargeback/dispute can be "Unauthorized transaction". This also answers your second question - why would anybody want to charge back money given to friends or family.
If you are using paypal for business, you need to upgrade your personal account to premier or business
Yeah I do agree with you I cant understand why Paypal allows personal payment chargeback ..when such funds may come from friends and relatives and for personal use only...But I guess paypal knows a lot of freelancers and other small business man uses personal paypal payment already to received funds
