    Sure! As long as you are from an approved country with a valid credit card and bank account, nothing prevents you from being paid via Paypal.

    If Google wants to promote Google Checkout, I don't think they'll ever use Paypal for payments

    You mean for adsense earnings ? Really ? I'd love to hear any reference then.
    What I know is Paypal hasn't become Google friends already :)

    Your adsense payments can't come through paypal. Paypal and adsense are dushman (hindi :D)

    I receive my money to Australia straight into my bank account. I know that this payment option is only available to a few selected countries, but it beats the heck out of being paid via paypal ... no fees on my end!

    Financial transactions present major security problems in some countries, especially eastern europe, for banks and companies like paypal so they not keen to do business there, and are unlikely to any time soon.

    Google does not payout via paypal. They either pay you via check tru standard mail or DHL, Electronic fund transfer (EFT) and Western Union.

    How do you suppose they will promote Google Checkout if they use Paypal to pay you ;)

    You cannot use paypal, Google Checkout either.. If you have paypal, you can transfers Google's deposit in your bank account over to paypal; but there's not a direct payment to paypal. Have to go through the bank first using any method.

    you can get paid only by
    check dhl eft in some contries and western union in some contries
