paypal payment on hold

hi

i have sent $1100 to my friend in his paypal account .. he told me his account is on hold when he tried to withdraw money ... What can be reasons for hold ?

will that money refunded to my account or can paypal scam us with that money ..

Just ask your friend to choose the escalate option and tell him to refund that money through this system and surely the amount will be refunded to your account,Dont worry.

 

Make sure his account is verified. I think they have stipulations for money over $1,000 being transferred. Remember how paypal has a real lack of security right now so be careful with those amounts of money through paypal.

 

If his account was on hold before the transfer, could be their is a dispute or infraction has occured and they have to take it up with PayPal.

Your money should be safe. Request the money back and tell your friend to esclate the claim to PayPal for a refund. If not you can always contact PayPal before hand and let them know the situation.

I think he should verify his account and I would like to asked if your friends account is personal or premier/business. Usually those having problems like that have personal paypal account.

first thing your amount is safe. now tell your friend to press the resolution button and check what all are the steps to remove the limitation. follow those steps one by one. generally if your has everything genuine then it will not be a problem. paypal will ask you to change the password, change the security question and provide latest utility bill with the same address mentioned in the paypal. Some times if the account looks more suspecious then it will ask your photo identification, like D.L. or passport copy. if you find any difficulites with this or if you have more questions, just pm me. The best solution is to call the paypal and ask the reason why pyapl has hold your account.And you can solve your problem.

 

Don't say payments are safe with paypal because there not, there not a bank there not insured with the fdic, there totaly wack, but i know there tricks, so if you have a hard time hit me up on pm, and ill see what i can do
