Ok I just tried to close an old PayPal account I previously used. Although I needed to confirm my bank account number to close the account but this is an old account an hence linked to and old bank account which I no longer have the account number for. So I was stuck with no way of closing the account, I was trying to think of anything I could do to help and then I decided to try remove the bank account from the account - this successfully worked by simply just clicking remove and not having to supply any information. I then went back to the close account page and was no longer required to confirm my bank account number and closed the account. So this was an easy way of getting around one of PayPals security protocols, how stupid?
Lol... that really is stupid... paypal really sucks! I wanted to expand my sending limit cause I had more money in my paypal account than I am able to spend by their default 100 bucks, so I asked them nicely to expand my limit to the amount I have in my account, and they said NO! Grrrrrrrr
