Paypal not accepting debit card?

    I used to have a temporary visa debit card from BoA that worked fine on paypal I got my new card and activated it but I try to put it on paypal and always rejects it why?

    Debit cards don't usually work. Get credit card.

    you may want to try using it as a credit card for it to go through
