Looks like they want more people to bump up to a premiere account...the cash back/money market feature is a nice little bonus each month.
Come on guys, did you notice that they remade their system once again (couple of weeks ago) Now personal transactions are legal again (eg you don't need to mark as gift and worry), just they added a small fee, for example if you send 50$ the fee is 0.15$ So no need to upgrade to premier account anymore - personal payments are back (just with a small fee)
i tried to send $50 from my premier account to personal account and $2 was fees not $0.15. Better check before post any news
Where the heck did you read that the fee is only 15 cents? If you read the fee schedule: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-receiving-fees-outside&countries= Domestic personal transactions are either free (domestic, funded by Paypal balance) or cost a percentage plus a fixed fee - and that fixed fee is 30 cents US. Cross border fees are higher.
how its that i recieved 10$ and paypal cut 2$ from it? i think they charge for payments from CC very alot,:|
No, I meant that personal to personal is 0.15$ I sent various sums, sent 10$ fe was 0.10$ sent 50$, fee was 0.15$ sent 100$, fee was 0.30$ (or 0.50$ don't recall exactly) and so on
by the way paypal fees are VERY confusing, personal to personal, premier to persona, personal to premier, cc to premier. Plus all the different fees depending on country and so on...
When my client paid me $2 via Paypal for a sample of my writing, the fees were 38 cents. Paypal is milkin' us dry. Need an alternative!
alertpay.com seems to be the best alternative to paypal that i know. But the problem is that they are not near as well known as paypal
